I'm so happy to finally show my new Liberty loop in collaboration with Quince and Co.!
Liberty is part of Quince and Co. Scarves, Etc 5: a stunning collection of fashion accessories to make your winter warm and full of colour.
You can find the e-book on Ravelry and on Quince and Co. website.
I like to be inspired by nature when I think about a new design. Liberty comes from a fusion between two elements that I love: a sophisticated lace leaf-like pattern and a strong garter stitch. The result is rich and full of texture, perfect to exploit both delicate shades and bold colors. The stitch pattern is simpler than it seems, very quick to do but spirited...just as I prefer!
Liberty is designed for Quince and Co. Osprey, a delightful Aran weight pure wool yarn shown in Barolo. It was a huge pleasure to work with this yarn, so lofty and easy to work.
I'm looking forward to see your colour choices!

This is my first MKAL (mystery knit-a-long)!
I’m so excited!

This mystery shawl is inspired by my most popular pattern Dirty Martini.
The pattern will be released in four parts; the intro (already available) will contain general info for swatching and stash diving.
Each Clue will contain two options: the original version in 2 colours and the stash busting version in 3 or more colours.
Intro: Sunday, January 10 2016 (general info).
Clue 1: Friday, January 22 2016 (section 1).
Clue 2: Friday, January 29 2016 (section 2).

With each Clue you will receive also a little surprise: a coupon code with an exclusive prize for you.
The clues will remain available for single download until February 14, when the clues will be replaced with a full version of the pattern (with pictures).

Here we are! I wish a year full of knitting to all my friends!
I did a list of my good purposes for 2016:
1. Knit down my stash or give it away. I absolutely have to use the huge stash of yarns that I have stored in the past years. It includes tons of handspun, tons of gorgeous hand dyed yarns and again tons of leftovers. Shame on me!
It means more stash buster patterns, starting using these two delightful skeins of Malabrigo Rios that I received almost a year ago (shame-shame-shame)...
2. Be a more social person. I received a fantastic tablet (the Modish Tab!) as Christmas gift and I'm not afraid to use it!
I'm increasing my social network presence and I announce that any my calls for testers will be posted on socials (no more earburns via Ravelry). I think this is a fairer method of acting, so I can give everyone the opportunity to participate!
I already started and I will continue the next week with my Cheshire Cat Scarf.
3. Since I am a proud Italian, I finally decided to translate all my patterns into Italian by the end of 2016.
I started with my new design: Incrocio, that will be available in mid-January.
It was time! I know it might sound weird, but I'll have to study every technical term in my language (again, shame on me!).
That is my mission for the next months.
