This third week, I'm so happy to talk about a fantastic Finnish designer: MeijuKP on Ravelry!

I am a mother of three boys and a wife to very nice man. :)
I live in Helsinki, capital of Finland. No pets, my hubby and middle son have allergies.
Nowadays I have a day job (my real occupation is in social sciences, I studied social psychology as a major) and night job. I have a passion for both. My night job is of course knitting designing business, I don’t count hours for that - I just do it for passion. I would love to continue designing in the future, but you never know what life might bring. Right now I have a nice balance with things, life is hectic, but I really love that I am able to do what I love and my family supports it (most of the time ;) ).
I have other hobbies, I run and exercise almost regularly and I love cross-country and alpine skiing (I wish we had more snow - but last two winters have been really poor). And I love to skate (when I was small I trained figure skating and my mom & grandma knitted(!) all kinds of skating dresses for me).
I love to design cardigans and other wearable sweaters. All my designs are seamless, I am a lazy knitter myself in a sense that I don’t like sewing seams. I am aiming into well written patterns, enjoyable to knit designs and with that my crowing group of test knitters will help me. I am really grateful for fellow ravelers and testers for all the support.
Recently I have made a few shawls too and I have noticed that there is more and more shawl designs appearing into my sketch book. I have never dared to organize a MKAL but I would love to do that some time in the future.
